If you are familiar with Netgear LTE modem, you may know the Netgear aircard series have very similar feature. On the front of Netgear Aircard 810s, there is a LED touchscreen with a home and back button at the side of the screen. From the specs table, we can see the Huawei E5788 is more advanced than Netgear AC810S. The Huawei E5788u-96a could support peak download speed up to 1Gbit/s while Netgear AC810S supports peak speed to 600Mbps. They both have only one variant model now. Huawei E5788 could support more LTE frequency bands than that of Netgear Aircard 810s. Huawei B612 VS Huawei E5186

We had introduced the Huawei E5186 and Huawei B525 Cat6 router a few months ago and now Huawei presents a new 4G Cat6 router B612 to Europe market. We had compared the Huawei B612 with Huawei B525 router and today we will check what the difference is between Huawei B612 and Huawei E5186 router.

The front of the two routers are similar, they both have a few indicators for power, mode, WiFi and signal with Huawei Logo on the front. The Huawei E5186 has one more indicator for Voice. One the back, Huawei E5186 router has 3 LAN ports and one LAN/WAN port. It also has two telephone ports and one USB port, but Huawei B612 has only one telephone port and no USB port available. The Huawei B612 router has an angled backrest which makes it stand more stable.

From the specs table, we can see the two Huawei Cat6 routers both could achieve peak download speed up to 300Mbps. They both have two variant models now. The Huawei E5186 supports dual-band WiFi while Huawei B612 supports only a single band on 2.4GHz. Huawei E5186 router could support up to 64 wireless users while Huawei B612 supports up to 32 WiFi users. The TP-link Archer MR400 and MR200 are both desktop routers. If you let them stand together, you can’t tell which one is Archer MR400 or MR200. They use the same model design. From the specs table, we can see the TP-link Archer MR400 and MR200 are both 4G LTE Router which could achieve 4G LTE download speed to 150Mbps and upload speed to 50Mbps based on the support of LTE Cat4. Other features are completely the same except that the WiFi feature. Due to the configuration of the MIMO 3 x 3 antennas in the 2.4 GHz band and the MIMO 2 x 2 in the 5 GHz band, the Archer MR400 provides a total transfer rate of up to 1350 Mbps (450 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz network and 867 Mbps in the 5 GHz). For comparison: the predecessor Archer MR200 model is limited to a speed of 300 Mbit/s in the 2.4 GHz network and 433 Mbps in the 5 GHz network. That’s why the TP-link MR400 is also called Archer AC1350 and TP-link MR200 is called Archer AC750. Of course, the TP-Link Archer MR400 is technically better than TP-link Archer MR200 AC750. If you would buy one router from the two, the Archer MR400 is better to recommend since the prices of the two routers are very close.

Huawei B612 VS Huawei B715

Since 4G LTE is becoming the mainstream, many people abandoned their ADSL router to change to LTE 4G Wireless routers for their home or offices. Summary

From the specs table, we can see even though the two Huawei LTE routers has the similar appearance. They are different in the specs. Huawei B715 is more advanced in the specs, it could support LTE category 9 and could achieve download speed up to 450Mbps while the Huawei B612 modem supports LTE Cat6 and achieve download speed to 300mbps. Huawei B612 has two variant models: B612s-25d and B612s-51d while Huawei B715 has only one model now. The variant models make the unlocked B612 could work in more widespread areas with more possible network providers. The Huawei B715 could support up to 64 wireless devices while Huawei B612 could support only half to 32 users simultaneously. If you have read our blog about Huawei B525, you may be familiar with the appearance of Huawei B525, it’s in a traditional router design. On the front, there are five indicators to show the power, mode, WiFi, LAN and signal status. On the back of Huawei B525 4G, there are two connectors for external LTE antennas which are covered by a long cap. Four Ethernet ports are available, among which 3 is for LAN and one is for both LAN and WAN. One RJ11 telephone port and one USB port is at the side of the Ethernet ports. The SIM card slot is at the bottom of the Huawei B525 modem with the label showing the model number and other corresponding information about the router.

 

Like the Huawei B525, Huawei B612 router also has five LED indicators to show the power, internet, WiFi, LAN/WAN and signal status, and they both have the power button and WPS on the top edge side. The Huawei B612 also uses Micro SIM card and the SIM card slot is at the bottom. It also has two connectors for external antennas. TP-Link M7450 VS Netgear AC790S Appearance and Interfaces

As the world’s first 4G LTE Mobile WiFi hotspot with LTE Cat.6, the Netgear AC790S is also the world’s first LTE Pocket WiFi with a touchscreen. Users can see the connection status and do some basic settings through the screen. Like other Netgear LTE mobile hotspot router, Aircard 790s has two connectors for external antennas. From the specs table, we can see the TP-link Pocket WiFi M7450 and Netgear AC790S are both LTE Cat.6 router with Qualcomm chipset. They can both support download speed up to 300mbps. Netgear Aircard 790s is more user-friendly with the touch screen but they both could be managed through the APP. TP-link M7450 supports more WiFi users up to 32 while Aircard 790s supports only 15 users. TP-Link M7450 supports more LTE frequency bands which makes it work with more network providers’ SIM card. Other features of TP-link M7450 and Netgear 790S are very similar: similar size, similar battery feature. However, the TP-link M7450 price is very high compared with similar 4G LTE Cat.6 Mobile WiFi routers such as  Huawei E5786 and ZTE MF970, perhaps because it’s a new model.
