Huawei B525 is a new 4G LTE Advanced router with carrier aggregation on HiSilicon LTE Cat6 Chipset, which could achieve download speed to 300Mbps and upload speed to 50Mbps. Huawei B525 4G could support up to 64 wireless terminals to access the internet simultaneously with the WiFi 802.11ac dual bands(2.4GHz & 5GHz). There are four RJ45 ports for Ethernet cable, one USB interface(ability to connect an external drive or printer) and one Telephone port(RJ11). Two external antenna connectors are covered by a cap on the back.
Huawei B525 CPE is a powerful 4G LTE Ultra desktop router so that you will enjoy the fastest wireless internet in your home or office. With this application HiLink (available on Android and IOS), the B525 LTE CPE can be managed remotely using your smartphone. Huawei had already an LTE cat6 router E5186, which has similar features to B525 WiFi router. It combines the advantages of a well-known devices B315 and E5186. Users can use the interface WLAN 802.11ac (max. 786 Mbps) or 4 Gigabit LAN ports.

Just purchased the Huawei B525. My EE 4G router went dead and EE don't seem to want to replace it (nothing but hassle for two days). Using this new router for about three months, it's so much faster than the EE box. Took ten minutes to set up and instead of one bar signal strength this baby gives us three bars without any additional aerials. It's great, do all well as descriped. If you don't have a phone line but can get a 4g signal then this is the kit for you. I bought an external antena at the same time but as yet no need to install as I have full strength 4G signal and incredible download speeds. The WiFi has an excellent range even into the garden.Quality

Device received, everything was as I wanted it - including the correct power adapter.Quality
SIM card inserted, LTE connection was made within a few seconds.
Wi-Fi connection from mobile phone and tablet to the router also worked fine.
Finally, I still have the LAN connection tested: DHCP function on the router is enabled by default, PC was immediately assigned an address and was able to the Internet.

The Huawei LTE router works perfectly.Quality
Installation easy - user-friendly menu with numerous and useful configuration options.
The only limitation, at least with the use of a vodafone card, is that IP telephone can not be set additionally. Thus, the TAE function can not be used with a standard telephone. So a detour via a software solution for Sipgate use.
Reception and speed well.

The Huawei B525 router has been running continuously for 5 months in the Telekom LTE network. Super ping times and so far not a single restart.
Even online games are without any problems.

The device provides a stable LTE reception even with fluctuating signal strength due to bad weather conditions - used in clear weather, rain and fog but also in fog and even quite a snowfall in the Harz foreland - WITHOUT external antenna gain were constant 3 signal bars reception , In order to optimize this, LTE external antennas were connected.Quality
The router transmits its signal to up to 4 devices directly connected by cable and at the same time also over several radio channels stable in both WLAN net frequencies, whereby a DHCP takes over the address administration reliably and also with changing connection properly.

Good device with no lock up issues yet. Using this as our main device due to great 4G reception. It is reliable so far and we have seen test result of 39.5 down and 29 up. So much faster than the broad band landline connection. Enough software options for our household. 4 SSID options for varied access settings. Enough RJ45 sockets for my small network. The B525 is a very good router, and the CAT6 protocol is currently the fastest available. Huawei makes professional communication equipment for most of the mobile network providers, and their expertise is evident in their consumer products. The 4G reception is excellent (compared to my iPhone), and the dual WiFi frequencies give you the choice of reach or speed.Quality

Can't bear the slow speed on ADSL router, get this new 4G router, i have to say it's great, the speed is much fast than the speed from ADSL router. I'm interested in the Huawei E5186 router first, but after seeing this new one, i choose it and it works just great as described.
