Quectel RG620T is a series of 5G Sub-6GHz modules in LGA form factor for IoT/eMBB applications. Quectel 5G module RG620T equipped with MediaTek T830 complies with the 3GPP R16 standard and supports 5G Sub-6GHz frequency band and 5G SA / NSA dual networking mode.
Quectel RG620T provides two models: RG620T-NA for the North American market and RG620T-EU for EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Brazil markets.
Quectel RG620T module supports up to 300MHz downlink bandwidth and NR 4CA (four-carrier aggregation) in FDD and TDD modes. The built-in terminal product of this module can achieve a 5G download rate experience of up to 7.01Gbps; support up to 200MHz uplink bandwidth And NR 2CA (Dual Carrier Aggregation) allows the maximum uplink rate to soar to 2.5Gbps.
The T830 platform inside the RG620T adopts a 4nm process, and integrates an Arm Cortex-A55 quad-core CPU, with a main frequency of up to 2.2GHz, and a built-in M80 5G modem. The terminal products using Quectel RG620T can effectively utilize the surplus CPU performance inside the chip, and save costs while improving processing performance.
While supporting EasyMesh™ and the more secure WPA3 R3 encryption protocol, RG620T provides a variety of Wi-Fi configuration combinations according to the needs of scenarios and terminals. For example, the tri-band 4x4 Wi-Fi 7 collocation solution is suitable for 5G CPE terminal scenarios; 5G Mobile hotspot devices can use the dual-band 2x2 Wi-Fi 7 solution, especially Wi-Fi 7 comes with faster transmission speed, wider channel, more efficient QAM modulation, adaptive connection, and other features, allowing the terminal to integrate 5G high-speed Speed and high concurrency technical capability of Wi-Fi 7.
The antenna design of RG620T can realize 8 antennas to receive signals at the same time, which will bring a high-speed and stable 5G network to complex indoor environments and outdoor long-distance environments.
