It’s a long time since the Huawei B618 4G Router was firstly released by the manufacturer Huawei. Some information shows the Huawei B618 4G LTE Router was already available in some network providers’ data plan. Good news is that we get the unlocked Huawei B618 4G Router now.
The Huawei B618 Router is packed in white box with the image of B618 printed on the front with the model number. The device is in white color and looks good. Protected by a plastic bag, the Huawei B618 is unlike usual wireless router shaped in a cube, so it’s also called Huawei B618 Cube. When it stands on the desk, it looks like a humidifier.
On the front, we can see the Huawei logo and below is are the LED indicators including three signal bars, WPS button, Power indicator, Internet Status indicator, LAN status indicator, WiFi indicator and Mode indicator. On the back, we can see the power button, one USB2.0 port, One LAN port and one LAN/WAN port, one telephone port and power adapter plug port. At the top are the two connectors for external antenna covered by a small cap.
The connector type of the Huawei B618 external antenna is TS-9 and we had tried the antenna with two TS-9 connectors with the Huawei B618 Router. They are working together very well.
Like its predecessor Huawei E5180s-22 Cube, there is a label at the bottom of the device, which would show more details about this device. We can see it indicates the model number is B618s-22d. Below the model number, there are SSID name, SSID 5G name, WiFi key/password, IP address for web management, user name and password for log in web IP address, and the WPS Pin code.
On the right side, it indicates the input power is 12V-2A, and the IMEI number & S/N are listed with the bar code. The CE0682, RoHS and WiFi certified with the Made in China and Huawei Technologies Co., LTD are also on the label. Below the label is the SIM card slot, which is also covered by a cap to protect from dust. User needs to open the cap and plug in the sim card. At the SIM card slot side, it’s the rest hole. If you want to reset the router, you need press the reset button the hole for few seconds.
Here now the original new and unlocked Huawei B618s-22d is available on www.4gltemall.com, if you are looking for a cool 4G wireless router supporting LTE-Advanced networks, Huawei B618 Cube should be a good option.
Huawei E5787 4G+ is a new mobile LTE Hotspot which has been released last year and now it’s available for many network providers in Asia and Europe. This is the successor to the popular Huawei E5786 from the year 2014. As the predecessor, the E5786 modem supports up to 300 MBit/s in the downlink (LTE category 6), technically speaking, not much has changed. The new Huawei E5787 has the large touch screen on the front, with which the hotspot is particularly easy to use. In the test, you will see the detail features of the Huawei E5787 and the specifications.
The Huawei E5787 4g+ MiFi is available in black and white. The device is slightly smaller than the predecessor Huawei E5786 and works overall quite inconspicuous. The large touchscreen display is visible on the front, but an LED indication is not available. At the top of the hotspot is the power button, there is a micro-USB port as well as two TS-9 antenna connectors. In addition to the power supply and USB charging cable, it also includes a small hand loop in the package, which can be attached to the router.
The first impression is quite good. After inserting the SIM card as well as the battery (nano-SIM cards with adapter on MicroSIM work safely) you have to start the Huawei E5787 over a long press on the power button. If you do not use a completely exotic provider, the LTE Hotspot configures itself completely automatically and after entering the SIM PIN you are already online.
The Huawei E5787 is sold worldwide in several variants, which support different frequency ranges. The Huawei E5787s-33a is available in Europe and is compatible with all frequency bands that are important in Europe but can also be used on other continents. Unfortunately, with the chipset has not changed in comparison to the predecessor, there is still “only” LTE Cat6 with 300 MBit/s. Many smartphones such as the Huawei P10 or the Samsung Galaxy S8 are already offered at least 600 MBit/s in the downlink with a higher-level chipset, and the Netgear AirCard 810 touch screen hotspot is also providing faster service.

Operation & Touchscreen
The E5787 is Huawei’s first mobile WLAN router with touch-screen operation. The display is 2.4 inches in size and provides a color display. The plastic cover over the display reflects quite strongly and the display quality of the display is not comparable to that of current smartphones, but much worse. You can recognize all the contents well, but when you look at the display, it is somewhat brighter. But the response of the screen is good, and usually one seldom uses the display at an LTE Hotspot.
The speed of the software and the response speed of the touchscreen could be convincing. Huawei offers a much better experience in the E5787 hotspot than Netgear AirCard 790 or AirCard 810 Hotspot. Also, the software is quite appealing, without losing the functionality from the eye.
On the start screen, all important functions are displayed by default. This includes a large time display including the date as well as the status bar Information about the reception, WLAN and battery. Access to further functions or the settings is obtained by unlocking the E5787 with a “Swipe” to the left. In the main menu, there are the 6 menu items “Connection Wizard”, “Energy Saving Mode”, “SSID and Password”, “SMS”, “Settings” and “Info”.
In addition to the touchscreen operation, a web interface is also available, which can be accessed via the IP address 192.168.8.1. In addition, the Huawei HiLink app is also available for iOS and Android, with which a configuration is also possible.
LTE up to 300 MBit/s
Theoretically, the Huawei E5787 with its LTE Cat6 modem reaches speeds of up to 300 MBit/s in the downlink. For this purpose, the hotspot bundles two frequency bands by carrier aggregation technology provided that the mobile radio network also makes this technology available. In the test, speed tests were carried out with SIM cards from Vodafone and Telekom, but only in the frequency range around 800 megahertz, in particular, to be able to test the reception and the speed in remote areas. The Huawei E5787 made a good figure here, especially in comparison with various smartphones, reception is often better and the data rates were slightly higher. In case of doubt, an external antenna can also be connected for the purpose of improving the reception; the necessary two TS-9 connectors are hidden under a side cover. If you need the Huawei E5787 external antenna, you may try this one: http://www.4gltemall.com/4g-antenna-two-ts-9-connector.html
WLAN without Extender
Devices can be connected to the Internet either via the USB port or via WLAN. The cable connection worked in the test without problems, but most users will probably use WLAN. The maximum speed over WLAN is 867 Mbps, up to 10 devices can be connected at the same time. The Huawei E5787 supports both the frequency range around 2.4 GHz as well as the 5 GHz, the simultaneous use in the dual-band mode is unfortunately not possible. In the test, there were no problems with the WLAN. It is nice that the WLAN access data are no longer displayed in the display like on some previous Huawei hotspots, but are only displayed on demand, so as the important settings such as WLAN SSID, WLAN password.
A major disadvantage of the Huawei E5787 compared to many other LTE hotspots: a so-called WLAN extender or WLAN repeater is missing. The predecessor E5786 had still integrated the function, with which one can use an existing WLAN network as Internet access, but in the E5787, Huawei disabled the function for unknown reasons. It’s really a pity.
Battery & Other
The battery of the Huawei E5787 has a capacity of 3.000 mAh. The battery can easily be replaced by the user, which is an advantage compared to the predecessor model Huawei E5786. So you can buy a second battery or in the case of a battery defect, quickly replace it even outside the warranty period. In continuous test operation with an average of 3 WLAN devices connected simultaneously to 2.4 GHz, the runtime was around 10 hours.
The E5787 4G Hotspot offers the possibility to also be used as an external battery (“Powerbank”), which can charge an empty smartphone with power off. For a full charge, it should not be enough with most current smartphones, so the Powerbank function is, therefore, more suitable for the emergency.
The Huawei E5787 is a very good LTE hotspot. The touch screen operation was well implemented and the software was designed appealing. The modem performance was good in the test and the maximum speed of 300 MBit/s should be sufficient for most users, but it is disappointing that Huawei “only” installed an LTE Cat6 modem and the E5787 has no great technical improvement. Also some practical functions are missing: the simultaneous spark on 2.4 and 5 Gigahertz is not supported and support of a maximum of 10 devices at the same time in comparison with the competition also somewhat obsolete. Nevertheless: if one can ignore the few criticism points, the Huawei E5787 a very good mobile LTE hotspot to recommend.
As the famous vendor for mobile MiFi 4G routers, Huawei offers us a new model that succeeds to Huawei Mobile WiFi Pro E5770. With a notable feature, the new model Huawei E5771 does not have an LCD screen.
The highlight of the Huawei E5771 Mobile WiFi is the huge 9600 mAh internal battery (non-removable) that provides up to38 hours of operating time.
On the other hand, the E5771 has a small LED’s on the slice, which indicate the essential information, one for the data transfer activity, the other 4 indicating the status of the battery. In addition to these LEDs, the power button on the upper face and having the initials “Hi ” comes alive with different colors of green, orange and red, indicating the reception quality of the 3G/4G signal.
Of course and as usual, all the indications SSID, Wifi password and Barcode to flash for a smartphone, are located under the hood of the Huawei E5771. Still under the hood, there is a SIM card slot in micro-SIM format and the slot for a micro-SD storage card (up to 32 GB), for storing data. The connected devices with E5771 could share the data in the storage card.
To configure and administer the Huawei E5771 Mobile Hotspot, user can log in a web interface accessible not only from a PC, but also access from the Hi-Link application for smartphone, which gives you access to essential functions.
On one side of the Huawei E5771, there are 2 USB ports, one in full size is designed to recharge a device such as a smartphone, thanks to its 9600mAh battery, and the other one is in micro-USB allowing charging of the E5771 hotspot.
The Huawei E5771 Hotspot comes with its charger, but also with its USB cable to connect the micro-USB port to the charger or the port of a PC. The special feature of this cable is that it also serves as a carrying strap for the case. It’s not stupid to have it always with you.
Huawei E5771 Specifications
Huawei E5771 is a 4G Category 4 router, allowing you downlink of up to 150 Mbps and uplink to 50 Mbps. The supported frequency bands are:
It is therefore compatible with almost all the operators over the world. And there are many variant models for various network frequency bands such Huawei E5771s-852, Huawei E5771s-856, Huawei E5771h-937 etc.. The Wi-Fi standard is 802.11 b/g/n; 2.4GHz (no ac 5GHz) , and it supports 10 simultaneous wireless users. The battery is given for 38 hours of operation and 500 hours in standby, it is not removable.
The HUAWEI E5771 is now available at www.4gltemall.com for a price of $ 189USD. There are 3 colors are available, White, Black or Gold.
For some users, the absence of an LCD is not good, since it is compensated by various indicator lights; the Huawei E5771 presents a rather nice aesthetics and especially a huge battery that offers an excellent practical function.
With the powerful network compatibility (not totally) and at an affordable price of $ 189, the Huawei E5771 is a good compromise, knowing nevertheless that it offers neither the category 6 to 300 Mbps nor WiFi ac 5 GHz. If you want a 4G mobile WiFi router with screen or with the latest LTE category 6 carrier aggregation technology, you may check the Netgear Aircard 790s or Huawei E5786 or E5787. They are the latest new models with advanced technology, but it’s a pity, they don’t have the large battery as E5771.
Released in at the beginning of 2016, Huawei B5328 LTE Router is only distributed to few telecom operators who wish to offer it to their customers with a 4G offer till now. As we know, it’s now available only for the network provider Mobilis in Algeria, and other carriers such as China Mobile, Vodafone are trying to test their network with the new 4 X 4 Mimo technology.
The particularity of this B5328 LTE router is that it is one of the few devices to offer a LTE-A 4X4 MIMO technology. Based on the GCT’s GDM7243Q, the only LTE-A chip commercially available that offers 4×4 MIMO capability, enables Huawei B5328 LTE CPE with higher data rates and throughput while using limited bandwidth (“double speed” with the same limited bandwidth), which is a scarce commodity for network operators.
GCT GDM7243Q chipset features:
* Supports FDD-TDD LTE Cat5/6/7
* Cat5 LTE with 4×4 DL MIMO: 300Mbps DL, 75Mbps UL
* Cat6 LTE with 4×2 carrier aggregation: 300Mbps DL, 50Mbps UL
* Cat7 LTE with 4×4 MIMO or carrier aggregation with 300Mbps DL,100Mbps UL
* Dual processor architecture: ARM Cortex-A7 with 832MHz clock frequency. Application CPU + Modem CPU (LTE)
* On-Chip VoLTE (HD-Voice)
* SoftAP for external WiFi client
GCT GDM7243Q Semiconductor
GCT GDM7243Q chipset is often used on 2X2 MIMO for telecom, which has few advantages, but its availability makes it possible to use 4X4 MIMO in near future.
In this version Huawei B5328-155, it has a single Gigabit Ethernet port and the WiFi band is only on 2.4 GHz, which seems not enough for a high-end router, and the 4 x 4 mimo technology is only highlights.
After the Algerian Internet users who have the possibility to use this B5328 router via the operator MOBILIS, Vodafone also carries out tests in 4X4 MIMO on its 4G network. And it seems that the operators in German, Switzerland and Austria are in discussions with Huawei.
Here now, the latest 4G LTE Router is Huawei E5186, which is LTE Category 6(Rel 12). After Huawei presents the B5328 LTE CPE, we would expect more similar 4G LTE Routers available in near future. Of course, the routers would do their best performance after the network carriers upgraded their networks.

The drivers of Sierra EM7455 are available for Windows® 7, 8.1 and 10, Android, and Linux, allowing for extensive operation.
With dimensions of 42 x 30 x 2.3 mm, this Sierra AirPrime EM7455 module can be placed in many objects, no doubt that we will find it soon in our daily life, such as LENOVO laptops.
From 2014, Huawei bring a new 4G router E5186 to its 4G product range, which is expected to mark a quantum leap in the development for 4G equipment. It’s virtual that all of the new standards are on board and will shape new global standards from the end of 2014. For the first time, LTE-Advanced (CAT6) and VoLTE are supported on the same device, that is Huawei E5186 LTE Wireless Gateway. You can read more about the new flagship below.
In spite of the appearance of Huawei E5186 looks like its predecessor Huawei B593, the standard is still the new evolution of the LTE technology. Many European operator such as O2, Vodafone and Telekom, start deploying the further significant faster LTE-Advanced network from this summer. With the LTE-Advanced technology, the data rate of 225-300 Mbps could be achieved. We also concern about “true” LTE telephone which has not been in use. The so-called VoLTE is very convenient when calling significantly increases. Huawei E5186 could also work at the outdoor environment and is therefore ideally equipped for the future.
Technology at a glance
As already indicated, the wireless capabilities of the E5186 are outstanding. LTE is supported on the band 1/3/7/8/20 and 38 on Huawei E5186s-22. But there is Huawei E5186s-61 which supports different LTE frequency bands. In addition to LTE-Advanced Category 6 ( CAT6 ), the operation over 3G and 2G is also possible. So all mobile phone types are supported by Huawei E5186. The router also dominates the latest wireless standard AC so that internal networks can be established with a maximum data rate of 1300 Mbps. A bottleneck via WLAN is therefore not to be expected in LTE-Advanced mode.
On the back of Huawei E5186, there are 4 Gigabit LAN ports (RJ45), two RJ-11 jacks for phones and a USB port. In addition, the power port and an on/off switch are at the side of phone jacks. Two external antennas can also be connected as usual, in case the reception conditions are not sufficient.
You will probably never find a DECT connection at Huawei. However, the operation over VOIP is possible on E5186. What is new, as already mentioned, the support of Voice over LTE ( VoLTE ). If the provider offers the LTE technology, calls can thus be handled directly by the contract SIM card via mobile phone. The advantage for customers: more stable connections, call setup in under 2 seconds, and perfect voice quality.
The Huawei E5186 has some OEM version at the leading LTE vendors. Vodafone will soon release the B4000 LTE Gateway with Vodafone logo. Probably the Telekom will use the device, but it is not yet known. Here now the E5186 is already available on www.4gltemall.com. If you want it, you could have a check.

According to information sources, the Ministry has officially released the 4G licenses to three operators this afternoon, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom all have received TD-LTE license.
Mainland official release 4G licenses, meaning that after the 3G launched to commercial for nearly five years, three domestic telecom operators finally granted a 4G license to get a start qualification 4G commercial, the three operators will be able to achieve 4G business commercial in Mainland justifiably. These operators will thus speed up the pace of deploying 4G-related work.
In fact, before this, the three operators have invested varying degrees of resources in 4G areas. China Mobile has taken the lead in a number of cities, such as Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Beijing etc…And some of them had launched a commercial trial 4G services. It is understood that China Mobile’s next plan will expanded the cities of TD-LTE network coverage to 300 or more cities.
While China Telecom recently launched preparatory work on 4G terminal, and issued a demand books of the terminal part to the 4G mobile phone manufacturers. At present, China Telecom has completed the first LTE network equipment tender, to build a 4G Network with FDD base stations accounted 70%, TDD base stations accounted for 30%.
China Unicom launched the first LTE equipment bidding at the end of October this year, totally Purchasing 52,000 LTE base stations, including 10000 TD-LTE base stations, 34000 FDD-LTE base stations, 8000 FDD-LTE indoor stations. Meanwhile, China Unicom has a comprehensive upgrade its 3G network downlink speeds to HSPA+ 42Mbps.
It’s generally believed that the competitive landscape of the three operators in 3G era will probably be broken in the upcoming 4G era. After 4G license released, the three operators stand on the same starting line again. It says that, 4G market will be a bigger cake, the three operators who can seize the best market opportunities in the new competition, will be able to benefit from them.
In addition, after the 4G license issuance, the investment will therefore be accelerated in the entire telecommunications industry and the mobile Internet industry. Followed 4G licenses issued, mobile Internet field may also be spawned a new round of start-ups, such as high-definition video conferencing, mobile gaming, 3D navigation applications suitable for broadband mobile networks under large data will also become a reality.
However, for the majority of consumers, the 4G licensing of commercial is not equivalent to real arrival of 4G eras. It must go through a maturation process, among which there are many problems to be solved. For example, the depth of coverage of the network, the popularity and decline cost of 4G terminal, down 4G tariffs and so on.
The latest report published by GSA (Global Mobile Suppliers Association) on the evolution of broadband (Evolution to LTE) shows an increase of 331% in the available number of commercial LTE networks in 1800 MHz compared to 2012.
According to the study, 69 of the 156 commercial LTE networks in the world are exploiting the spectrum at 1800 MHz (last year there were 16), and 41 of these use Huawei SingleRAN LTE technology around the world.
According to the GSA report in 2013, it appears that the spectrum band 1,800 MHz is considered as the most important for the LTE technology because it allows the use of global roaming. Currently the frequency band 1800 MHz serves almost 15 million users (data from the last quarter of 2012) with a share of 44% of commercial LTE networks. But as this technology becomes more and more popular available, many more operators launch LTE networks at 1,800 MHz and the mobile phone licenses for the 1,800 MHz were allocated to 150 countries.
Huawei has created several LTE networks at 1,800 MHz, for example in the UK. With the SingleRAN LTE solution, Huawei has supported the operators in the allocation of frequencies to 1800 MHz LTE network in order to facilitate the migration from GSM technology.
In Hong Kong, the solution of Huawei LTE SingleRAN allowed to upgrade GSM 1000 to 1800 MHz base stations, enabling them to offer LTE services in six weeks. And in Japan Huawei has witnessed the operator in the implementation of the first commercial network of UMTS/LTE 1800 MHz through a solution UMTS/LTE 1800 MHz simplified, retaining and reusing the UMTS antennas, the system of OSS and infrastructure fixed the original UMTS network.
Finally in Singapore was realized always on Huawei technology and LTE network is capable of simultaneously supporting the LTE frequency bands at 1,800 MHz and 2,600 MHz.
When the 4G LTE networks are available in Bulgaria, many customers may want to enjoy high surfing speed on 4G LTE networks in Bulgaria, but if you are in trouble to choose the wireless terminals to access the 4G network, below the guide may help you:
First, you need to know the operators who had deployed the 4G network(usually in LTE technology) and the LTE frequency bands in Bulgaria, per our information, the main 4G operators and LTE Frequency bands in Bulgaria is as below:
M-Tel, FDD Band 3 (1800MHz)
Max Telecom, FDD Band 3 (1800MHz)
Vivacom, FDD Band 3 (1800MHz)
The three operators support the same LTE Frequency band 7. Now if you are looking for a 4G Surfstick, 4G internet stick, 4G Router or 4G mobile hotspot to work with any operator above, you need to find a terminal that could support the band 3 (1800MHz). If you want the device to use with any SIM card of the operators, make sure the 4G Surfsticks/Internet stick, 4G Router or 4G mobile hotspots are unlocked, that is SIM free to any operator. To make you easy find the models available for Bulgaria 4G network, we recommend below the popular 4G terminals that would support the Band 3 and work with the above operators:
