Huawei Guide the development of LTE Commercial Networks at 1800 MHz

The latest report published by GSA (Global Mobile Suppliers Association) on the evolution of broadband (Evolution to LTE) shows an increase of 331% in the available number of commercial LTE networks in 1800 MHz compared to 2012.

According to the study, 69 of the 156 commercial LTE networks in the world are exploiting the spectrum at 1800 MHz (last year there were 16), and 41 of these use Huawei SingleRAN LTE technology around the world.

According to the GSA report in 2013, it appears that the spectrum band 1,800 MHz is considered as the most important for the LTE technology because it allows the use of global roaming. Currently the frequency band 1800 MHz serves almost 15 million users (data from the last quarter of 2012) with a share of 44% of commercial LTE networks. But as this technology becomes more and more popular available, many more operators launch LTE networks at 1,800 MHz and the mobile phone licenses for the 1,800 MHz were allocated to 150 countries.

Huawei has created several LTE networks at 1,800 MHz, for example in the UK. With the SingleRAN LTE solution, Huawei has supported the operators in the allocation of frequencies to 1800 MHz LTE network in order to facilitate the migration from GSM technology.

In Hong Kong, the solution of Huawei LTE SingleRAN allowed to upgrade GSM 1000 to 1800 MHz base stations, enabling them to offer LTE services in six weeks. And in Japan Huawei has witnessed the operator in the implementation of the first commercial network of UMTS/LTE 1800 MHz through a solution UMTS/LTE 1800 MHz simplified, retaining and reusing the UMTS antennas, the system of OSS and infrastructure fixed the original UMTS network.

Finally in Singapore was realized always on Huawei technology and LTE network is capable of simultaneously supporting the LTE frequency bands at 1,800 MHz and 2,600 MHz.

Huawei LTE Prevails in patent dispute against ZTE

The Chinese network equipment supplier Huawei has obtained on the Mannheim Regional Court for an injunction against ZTE. After the verdict, the judge ZTE violates five of the total of 18 patent claims by Huawei. Thus, it is no longer permitted ZTE to sell certain LTE base stations in Germany.

The dispute involved a patented method of Huawei the key derivation at the handover of receiving equipment from a base station to a radio cell to another base station. Furthermore, contrary ZTE also protected against the Huwawei of product design specialized hardware. Also after court, this may caused ZTE no longer sell LTE stations in Germany. Exceptions to this are LTE surf sticks for LTE networks.

In 2011 began the patent feud

Except before the District Court of Mannheim, the two network suppliers argue in two other methods in the Düsseldorf Regional Court. Again, it’s about LTE patents. A verdict is expected later this week.

These lawsuits are part of a major offensive against its competitor Huawei and ZTE. Since in April 2011, Huawei and ZTE has sued in several courts in Germany, France and Hungary. A little later then also overtook ZTE for retaliation and has also brought actions against patents in various countries of the competitors.

ZTE MF28D 4G LTE CPE WiFi Router Review

2012 is definitely a year for 4G. From this year, 4G is becoming hot day after day. More and more operators plan to deploy 4G networks, or trial, or launch to commerce. It’s no doubt 4G market is large, and vendors all over the world try their best to gain more occupation.

Based on big volume investment of R&D, it’s no doubt that HUAWEI is now one of the most important leaders in 4G technology. Today we are not talking about HUAWEI, we are talk about ZTE.  Since HUAWEI released HUAWEI B593 4G LTE CPE, ZTE, the second vendor in China, follows the steps of HUAWEI and launched its own brand 4G LTE CPE WiFi Router ZTE MF28D, so that to share more markets.

ZTE MF28D is one of the latest 4G LTE CPE Router and which supports 100Mbps download speed and 50Mbps upload speed. Unlike ZTE MF91 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot, ZTE MF28D 4G Router is not portable in pocket, it need outside power supply and then work. It’s mainly for SOHO and office use, but if for small scale industrial use, it’s also workable. With square-shape design, it’s just like a mirror to show the network status from the LED indicators on the surface. But it doesn’t look very large from appearance.

The dimension is 202 × 160 × 30.5 mm. With a SIM card slot in and 4 RJ45 Ethernet ports, it could transfer 4G signal to WiFi and PC could also get connected via Ethernet cable. Since unlocked ZTE MF28D 4G router can offer 100Mbps high speed, this means ZTE MF28D can do a lot of complicated activities such as watch movie, play game online , read E-book, transmit files, etc. Users could use tablet, game console or smartphone to access internet via this wireless network. There is one VoIP telephone slot for USB, so it could also dial up and work as a telephone.

Mobile operator competition is becoming more terribly. Recently, we also observed a significant increase in the popularity of all kinds of mobile devices, so that we can have access to the Internet by ZTE MF28D 4G router,

And ZTE MF28D 4G Wireless Router could support most of the current operation systems, Windows, Mac, Linux. You may ask which one is better, comparing HUAWEI B593 and ZTE MF28D, frankly speaking, ZTE MF28D is a budget one if you think too much about HUAWEI price for HUAWEI B593.
