It's a good router for home use.Quality
What I liked most about this device is that it does not require technical knowledge about any mobile operator settings such as APN, Authentication, Password etc. as the device automatically
configures the required settings. The Huawei web interface for the router settings is clear and laid out in a simple style.
All working well till now. The most attractive is the price now.

My friend recommends this router for me. Wow, seriously impressed with this. Proper plug and play, didn't need any configuration. I bought an external aerial to go with it. Word of warning - change the admin password and upgrade the security settings to medium. I was messing around with it and enabled the internet access PIN, this was a mistake because it cut off the signal and there is no way to input the PIN number so I had to put the sim card into a mobile phone and turn the PIN off again :o) (Posted on 12/1/2017)Quality - Absolutely Brilliant....

checked much information before buying and it has proved to be a good buy. I had at best about 6Mbps (much better than 1.5 on ADSL). I live in a weak signal area for the 4G but the switch to the Huawei at good times on the net takes me up to about 20Mbps with only a single bar on the signal strength. A great product for weak 4G signal areas (Posted on 10/20/2017)Quality - Great 4G MODEM

Since replacing my EE Osprey 4G dongle with this Huawei E5172As-22, my effective throughput has nearly doubled according to speedtest.net & thinkbroadband.com speed tests (scoring 90+Mbps download & 10+Mbps upload). There's also the option for an external antenna in areas of poor reception. (Posted on 9/12/2017)Quality - Very good to recommend

Great product we have installed this product at 30 locations it's the best product on the market for those who live in rural area's or even just non a fibre area's, it's not fibre!! but way better than standard ADSL broadband, the average 4g connectivity with an external aerial fitted is approximately 18meg down and 6-8meg upload, pretty good for a sim card.
