Fibocom FG205 5G Module

Fibocom FG205 is a high-performance 5G module officially unveiled at MWC 2026. It is a specialized solution built on the Qualcomm QMB415 platform (a customized version of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 / SM4450 chipset), specifically optimized for the Mobile WiFi (MiFi) and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) markets.

Unlike general-purpose 5G modules, the FG205 is "precision-tailored" to eliminate redundant features (like high-end GPUs) in favor of maximum network efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
