Quectel AG56xN 5G NR Sub-6 GHz Module

Quectel AG56xN series is a car-grade 5G NR Sub-6 GHz module developed by Quectel Communication, supporting both 5G NR Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) modes. This module uses 3GPP Rel-15 technology and can achieve a maximum downlink speed of 3.8 Gbps and an uplink speed of 480 Mbps under 5G SA mode. In LTE networks, it can support up to 780 Mbps downlink speed and 150 Mbps uplink speed. The AG56xN series is widely applicable in the IoT automotive field, providing reliable solutions for the establishment of smart vehicles, autonomous driving, and intelligent transportation systems. Additionally, the module supports dual SIM dual standby (optional) and offers a rich set of functional interfaces, greatly facilitating application development for customers. Its excellent ESD and EMI protection performance ensures robust operation even in harsh environments.

Quectel AG56xN series includes four models: AG566N-CN, AG566N-EU, AG568N-NA, and AG568N-ROW, designed to meet global market demands in China, Europe, North America, and Japan. It is backward compatible with existing GSM, UMTS, and LTE networks, enabling connectivity in regions without 5G NR deployment, as well as in remote areas lacking 3G/4G network coverage.

Quectel AG56xN series supports Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology, using multiple antennas for signal transmission and reception at both the transmitter and receiver in the same frequency band. This significantly reduces the bit error rate and improves communication quality. The module supports GNSS positioning (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo), incorporates a dual-frequency GNSS receiver (L1 + L5), and optionally supports DR and RTK, providing faster, more accurate, and more reliable positioning services while simplifying product design.

This module offers safe and reliable connected vehicle solutions for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 automotive component suppliers, as well as intelligent and flexible autonomous vehicle manufacturing solutions for automotive manufacturers.
