XREAL Eye (Model X7011) is a hot-pluggable, ultra-lightweight 6DoF sensing and camera module designed exclusively for the XREAL One Series (including the XREAL One, 1S, and One Pro). It seamlessly snaps into the bridge of the glasses frame to instantly upgrade their tracking capabilities and add a first-person point-of-view camera.
XREAL Eye Core Technical Specifications:
--------------------------------------------------
• Spatial Tracking: Native 6DoF positional tracking powered by a monocular SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) tracking sensor.
• Latency: Ultra-low 3ms motion-to-photon latency managed via the glasses' native X1 processing chip.
• Weight: Exceptionally lightweight at just 1.35 grams to maintain glasses ergonomics.
• Camera Sensor: 12MP Sony IMX681 image sensor with an f/2.25 aperture.
• Photo Resolution: Supports still photography up to 2016 × 1512 pixels (saved as JPG/JPEG).
• Video Recording: Records native POV videos up to 1600 × 1200 resolution (or 1080p @ 30/60fps FPV recording when linked directly to XREAL One).
• Acoustics & Algorithms: Equipped with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), overexposure highlight suppression, and advanced low-light noise reduction.
• Power & Storage: Draws bus power straight from the connected host device via the glasses' interface (no internal battery). Captured standalone media uses the glasses' internal 2GB temporary buffer for file export.
Key Features & Capabilities
--------------------------------------------------
• True 6DoF Spatial Anchoring: Upgrades your glasses from rotational-only tracking (3DoF) to full movement-tracking in space. Virtual screens remain completely locked in physical space like a real television, even if you walk around, stand up, or lean forward.
• Native Compatibility: Works instantly with any video source outputting over USB-C DisplayPort (Mac, PC, iPhones, Android, or consoles) without requiring dedicated background applications or driver configurations.
• Quick Snap Controls: Enables seamless hands-free first-person content capture using physical shortcut buttons on the glasses temple (single press for a photo, long press for video).
• Gesture Interaction Support: Provides the necessary front-facing camera array required to enable native hand gesture control processing across the spatial software ecosystem.
• Mixed Reality Video Sharing: When connected alongside the XREAL Beam Pro, it unlocks real-time mixed-reality composition, first-person FPV live streaming, and interactive spatial AI video calls.
