I use the part as a mobile hotspot on vacation, so that my wife and two children do not get Internet cutdown. ;-)Quality
The signal reception is very good, but can also be expanded with additional antennas.
The touch screen is very comfortable and is easy to read, and the feasible settings are absolutely sufficient.
Overall, maybe expensive, I still have a Huawei, which works very well and only half cost but the M1 definitely worths the money.
Especially the good reception and the simple setup by touch display make the difference.

I was looking for a mobile hotspot with antenna connection for a long time and came across the NETGEAR Nighthawk M1. I used the device immediately at the campsite and was satisfied with the reception. The device offers the possibility to connect two antennas. I have bought the appropriate antenna with cable and connector adapter and recommend it to anyone. The reception is great now and it is really fun to go online. The mobile hotspot Aircard by Netgear works great, is easy to use and is my constant companion. Battery keeps a good day with Wi-Fi,it switches off at home itself as soon as 15 minutes no device is connected to the Aircard. It keeps the battery for several days without problems. Ideal with me: My cable provider offer in its complete packages a SIM card with 500 MB data volume per month for free. I like to use this on trips, to save the data volume of my phone.

The M1 hotspot can recognize my Vodafone SIM automatically even with Telstra logo on the device. Without setup, M1 can get connection with WLAN network and so i can surf internet. The speed is must faster than my previous 3G mobile hotpsot. An external antenna can connect to this mobile router if the signal is weak. Anyway, it's fun to surf the LTE 4G safely. This worked fine in the UK, France, Germany and Switzerland. Really appreciate the unlocked version to use local SIM card rather than roaming. Very easy to setup and stable connection for fast speed for surfing. Good buy, small, neat and served its purpose in hotel room with patchy access. Works great, had ADSL for years at our cabin in the woods which was barely adequate, surfing was very slow and streaming was impossible!! We have a good cell signal at the cabin so this works great, stable connection and much much faster speed, can easy take outside in pocket. Wish I had made this decision a long time ago!! I had used netgear 3g pocket wifi, huawei 4g mobile wifi hotspots, but this nighthawk M1 should be the best mobile router in my opinion. Cool design, practical multiple functions and large battery, which makes it a perfect combination for wireless gadget. I just got the unlocked one to use it globally without any limit. Price is a little high, but i think it's a future proof router, which i can use for years and not out of date.
