Huawei AF18 is an Ethernet adapter to use with Huawei E5786 (E5786s-32a, E5786s-61a, E5786s-63a) 4G LTE Cat6 Mobile Hotspots and Huawei E5377 Mobile Hotspot. It has two main functions as below:
1. It can work as USB cable to charge the Huawei E5786 and Huawei E5377. Huawei AF18 adapter can help Huawei E5786 & E5377 to transfer the internet to WiFi.
2. A desktop can connect Huawei E5786 with Huawei AF18 via Ethernet cable so as to access internet, please refer below the images for the functions:
Huawei AF18 can also work with Huawei E5878 Prime 4G mobile hotspot. Just connect the Ethernet cable to Huawei AF18 and AF18 connect to Huawei E5878, do the simple PPPoE settings and you will get wireless network from Huawei E5878 without SIM card. You can refer to below the image for this function:
