I pay 35CHF a month for that tariff on a 1 year contract with SALT in Switzerland. With a 1 year contract, I had to pay 96CHF for the hardware. On a 2 year contract, it would have been 12CHF.
The hardware works amazingly well. I can connect every device in my home and still be under the max of 32. 2.4Ghz gives me pretty good wifi range. Not the same as my old Netger router but this thing is tiny so I live with it. It does cover all of my 250m2 house on 4 floors so I am happy.
I can achieve up to 80Mbps down and 30 up. That is mental fast compared to my awful 7 down and 1 up terrestrial DSL.
My girlfriend takes the MiFi to work with her and we car share so we have full wifi on our commute as well as for her at the office. No messing with connecting to her slow work wifi and authenticating every morning.
The 3600Mah battery lasts all day and we come home with about 40% left. Simply brilliant.
I haven't tried the powerbank feature yet as we both have one of them already but it might be handy in a pinch. The only issue is that once you have stolen the power from the MiFi, your freshly charged phone is not connected to FaceBook anymore ;o)
All in all, this is a revolutionary idea and for those (arguably few) people who like in places where the DSL is awful but 4G signal is good, it can really change your online life.
For me it is a 5 star product without question. I absolutely love it! (Posted on 6/30/2016) - Great little unit
