Data offloading reduces the amount of data that you are using on the cellular band. Tap a WiFi network.<\/p>\n<p>b. When prompted, enter the password for the WiFi network and tap <strong>CONNECT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>6. To join another WiFi network that is not in the list, do the following:<\/p>\n<p>a. Tap <strong>Join Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>b. When prompted, type the network name and the password.<\/p>\n<p>c. Tap <strong>CONNECT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>7. To offload to a preferred network, do the following:<\/p>\n<p>a. Tap <strong>Preferred Networks<\/strong>. A list of preferred networks displays.<\/p>\n<p>b. Select the network and enter the password.<\/p>\n<p>c. Tap <strong>CONNECT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When the hotspot is offloading the Internet connection, the WiFi icon is bright blue and displays the signal strength. The screen displays the SSID of the active WiFi network.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Turn On Data Offloading from a Web Browser <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To turn data offloading on or off:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From a computer that is connected to your network, launch a web browser.<\/li>\n<li>Enter <strong>http:\/\/m.home <\/strong>or <strong>http:\/\/192.168.1.1<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A login page displays.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Enter the administrator login password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The password is case-sensitive.<\/p>\n<p>The dashboard displays.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Select <strong>Setting &gt; Setup &gt; Data Offloading<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Data Offloading page displays.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Select the <strong>Enable <\/strong>check box.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>WiFi <\/strong>or <strong>Ethernet <\/strong>radio button.<\/li>\n<li>To use WiFi offloading, enter the WiFi network name and WiFi password.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Apply <\/strong>button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your settings are saved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specify Cellular Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can specify cellular network settings for the mobile router.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specify Cellular Settings from the NETGEAR Mobile App <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To specify cellular settings:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On your smartphone, connect to the mobile router\u2019s WiFi network.<\/li>\n<li>Launch the NETGEAR Mobile app.<\/li>\n<li>Swipe down.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The dashboard displays.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Tap <strong>Settings &gt; Cellular<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Cellular page displays. Domestic Data is selected by default.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>To turn domestic data on and off, tap <strong>Domestic Data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To turn roaming on and off, tap <strong>International Roaming<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To add an APN, do the following:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>a. Tap <strong>APN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>b. Tap <strong>+<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Add a new APN page displays.<\/p>\n<p>c. Complete the settings.<\/p>\n<p>d.
