Inside the Samsung Galaxy S5<\/a><\/strong>, a modern Snapdragon 801 operates with 4 cores which are each betaktet 2.5GHz.\u00a0Thus Samsung built the currently second-best processor from Qualcomm.\u00a0Ahead was speculated that possibly the Snapdragon 805 (2.7 GHz), will be part of the specification.\u00a0And up to the clock rate both CPUs same anyway, because both versions are based on the Krait 400 core.<\/p>\n

The display comes up with a diagonal of at least 5.1 inches, which dissolves 1920 \u00d71080 pixels with full HD.\u00a0The pixel density is 432 ppi.\u00a0When 2 GB RAM is available, what the high-end range standard is practically known.\u00a0The internal space is practically sufficient size to 16 GB, but can be increased via MicroSD to 64 GB.<\/p>\n

No wishes remain open here for the most demanding customers actually.\u00a0Starting with the support of all common WLAN standards, to wireless AC.\u00a0The latter enables wireless connections up to 300 Mbit\/s. The smartphone dominated moreover not “only” LTE, but also the latest expression of the category 4. If you book an appropriate mobile tariff from network providers, user can be so happy about data rates up to 150 Mbit\/s.\u00a0Even the so-called carrier aggregation is supported – a part of the LTE-Advanced specification that will allow for even higher speeds in the mobile network.<\/p>\n

The camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels and brings an innovative new function regarding HDR photography.\u00a0HDR images are photos with an increased dynamic range, they are so far only to create quite cumbersome.\u00a0Firstly several bracketing must always be (best with tripod) created and then be cumbersome added together with special programs. Samsung now provides for the first time a live HDR mode, which allows such images directly and in real time.<\/p>\n

Also new is a temperature and pulse sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, like the iPhone S5, \u00a0which is intended as an alternative password to unlock the device or during payment transactions.<\/p>\n

Differences between Galaxy S5 and S4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whoever keeps the S5 and S4 in the hand, will make two observations in a direct comparison.\u00a0Once the minimal bigger screen (0.1 inches) and especially the ridged back, which now has a leather-like feel.\u00a0Otherwise can be at least visually hardly notice differences.\u00a0This hidden mainly under the surface.\u00a0In\u00a0Galaxy S4<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0, a Snapdragon 600 chipset with a comparatively modest 1.9 GHz is used.\u00a0In addition, the resolution of the camera was “only” 12 megapixels.
