HUAWEI 4G LTE Gateways are new for most of the users, but most of them are user-friendly and users don\u2019t need many steps to configure. In most cases, the devices would automatically setup and connects to networks. Some users may want to set some parameters per their preference. Below is the user guide for your reference.<\/p>\n

How to configure your terminal Intelligent 4G LTE Gateway Huawei B890<\/p>\n

\u00a0A.<\/span> Insert your SIM card<\/p>\n

To take advantage of 4G LTE speeds on your providers\u2019 network, you must use a 4G SIM card.<\/p>\n

  1. Plug the power cable<\/li>\n
  2. Insert the SIM card to the SIM card slot.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the power button<\/li>\n
  4. The device will turn itself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    B.<\/span> After Connect to your computer to HUAWEI B890 4G LTE Smart Hub, you can login to HUAWEI B890 through wireless connection<\/p>\n

    The Intelligent Terminal Huawei B890 LTE Gateway can connect up to 32 wireless devices.<\/p>\n

    1. Locate the sticky under your HUAWEI B890.<\/li>\n
    2. Locate the SSID and WIFI Key line on the sticker.<\/li>\n
    3. Use the information found on the sticker to connect your wireless devices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      C.<\/span> Connect to Smart Hub for the first time and change the password<\/p>\n

      Once the Intelligent Terminal 4G LTE Huawei B890 is connected to your computer, log in and change the default password.\u00a0The Smart Hub require change password the first time you connect.<\/p>\n

      1. From your computer, open your\u00a0Web browser.<\/li>\n
      2. Type\u00a0http:\/\/huawei.smarthub\u00a0in the address bar.<\/li>\n
      3. Box\u00a0Username\u00a0default should be\u00a0\u201cadmin<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n
      4. Type the\u00a0password for the Admin account.\u00a0 (NOTE: The default password is\u00a0admin<\/strong>.)<\/li>\n
      5. Press\u00a0Enter\u00a0or click\u00a0Ok.<\/li>\n
      6. Window\u00a0Change the password of the connection opening appears.<\/li>\n
      7. Enter the\u00a0current password.<\/li>\n
      8. Enter a\u00a0new password.<\/li>\n
      9. Confirm<\/strong>\u00a0the password.<\/li>\n
      10. Click\u00a0Apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        D.<\/span> Configure your HUAWEI B890 LTE Wireless Gateway<\/p>\n

        Use the setup wizard to help you configure the Intelligent Terminal HUAWEI B890 4G Router.<\/p>\n

        1. From your computer, open your\u00a0Web browser\u00a0.<\/li>\n
        2. Type\u00a0http:\/\/huawei.smarthub\u00a0in the address bar.<\/li>\n
        3. Box\u00a0Username\u00a0default should be\u00a0admin.<\/li>\n
        4. Type the\u00a0password for the Admin account.<\/li>\n
        5. Press\u00a0Enter\u00a0or click\u00a0Ok.<\/li>\n
        6. Click on\u00a0Settings<\/li>\n
        7. In the left column, click\u00a0Quick Setup.<\/li>\n
        8. If necessary, adjust the\u00a0time zone\u00a0on the page\u00a0Welcome to the Quick Start Wizard.\u00a0(NOTE: It is recommended to\u00a0keep other default settings)<\/li>\n
        9. Click\u00a0Next<\/li>\n
        10. The screen\u00a0Configure the profile\u00a0appears. (Make sure you type the right APN for your SIM card provider. NOTE: Keep the other default settings.)<\/li>\n
        11. Click\u00a0Next.\u00a0.<\/li>\n
        12. The screen\u00a0Configure the WLAN setting\u00a0appears. You can change the box\u00a0SSID name, and enter the name you want to identify your network. It is recommended to keep\u00a0SSID Broadcast\u00a0to\u00a0Enable.<\/li>\n
        13. Click\u00a0Next<\/li>\n
        14. The screen\u00a0Configure the WLAN setting\u00a0appears. Select the type of authentication. (NOTE: It is recommended to use\u00a0WPA2-PSK). Select the encryption method. (NOTE: It is recommended to use\u00a0TKIP + AES.) Enter your WPA pre-shared key.<\/li>\n
        15. Click\u00a0Next<\/li>\n
        16. Check your settings and click\u00a0Finish\u00a0to confirm.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
