ZTE MF980 4G Mobile Router Test

With the LTE network evolving to LTE-Advanced, more and more LTE gadgets are needed to support the advanced network so as to meet the requirements from end-users for faster internet speed. ZTE MF980, also named ZTE UFi MF980, is one of the new gadgets.

We got the ZTE MF980 4G mobile router for a couple of weeks and today we have time to take a test for this new LTE router. It’s in black color but much thinner than current popular models such as Huawei E5786 and Mobile WiFi Pro 2 E5885.

Appearance

The ZTE MF980 has a 1.44inch screen, but not like the high-end 4G LTE-A mobile hotspots from Netgear such as Aircard 790s and Aircard 810s, it’s not a touch screen. The ZTE and UFi are listed at two sides of the screen. On top edge, the power button and func button are there with a reset hole. At the opposite edge, two connectors for external 4G Antennas are covered by a small cap. The USB3.0 port is at the middle of the edge while the right side is SIM card slot. It uses Micro SIM. On the back of the ZTE UFi, there is only ZTE Logo. The back cover is not tight with the whole body, which makes you think it could be removed, but we tried, the back cover can’t be removed. So the battery is built-in and can’t be changed.

Operation

Long press the power button for 3 seconds on the top edge, the ZTE UFi MF980 will start working. The screen will show the signal bars, network provider’s name, users quantity connected from WiFi, battery status and the consumed data. For simple setup, users need to press the FUNC button to switch menu and power button to confirm.

In the simple menu, we can see it includes Data Connection, Device Info, WiFi QR Code, WPS, Global Roaming, Quick Boot. Click FUNC to next and click Power button to OK. Users can click to connect the data, and scan the QR code to connect to the router with the ZTELink APP. No more setup is allowed through the two buttons on ZTE UFi. If you want do more settings, you need log in the web page http://ufi.ztedevice.com or 192.168.0.1. Firstly, you need connect the WiFi from ZTE MF980 and enter WiFi key. When log in the web UI, the default password is admin. And there is PC and Mobile option per user preference.

On the head of the web page, user can shutdown the device, modify login password and logout by one click. Two languages are available: English and Chinese. In the middle of the page, there is a switch button to on and off LTE connection. Below is the setting button to click and enter into the setting options. Users can setup the connection by adding new APN, select preferred network (four options: 4G only, 3G only, 2G only and Automatic).

There are more options to setup the WiFi, user can setup the SSID name, security mode and password. If necessary, user can also enable the Guest SSID and WPS. In the WiFi advanced settings, user can select the WiFi band (2.4GHz and 5GHz available), Network mode (two options: 802.11b/g/n and 802.11 n only), Channel Bandwidth(20MHz/40MHz or 20MHz) and frequency channel. User can also select the country if necessary.

In the Advanced Settings, user can setup the power-save mode by choosing the WiFi coverage distance and WiFi Sleep time. And the router settings allow user to setup the IP address and DHCP. There are also options for firewall settings, such as Port filtering, Port mapping, UPnP and DMZ. User can also setup the firmware update check and reset or restart the router manually.

All setting for the ZTE MF980 UFI is very simple but important if you need them. User can also do the setting through the ZTELink APP, but has to install the APP in the smartphone first. We didn’t take the speed test this time, we will do the speed test by comparing it with the latest Netgear Nighthawk M1 MR1100 in following weeks and will provide full report after test. You can follow us for coming testing report.

ZTE MF910 4G Mobile Router Test

Many people are demanding higher speed for internet connection, even when they are on the go for vacation. If the LTE network is available, user just need a reliable mobile WiFi router to fulfill this. The ZTE MiFi router MF910 would do this job well for a good network partner.

ZTE MF910

The model ZTE MF910 is the big brother of our previously tested model ZTE MF65+. It offers the same features, but it is faster and more durable. Hard data: the MF910 gadget can be used continuously for 8 hours downloading data at speeds up to 150Mbit/s, in standby mode, it can withstand almost a week, and the maximum use of its services may as many as 14 other devices.

ZTE MF910

The manufacturer does not provide any information on the overstatement. ZTE MF910 battery in fact it is difficult to unload. Internet speed is of course dependent on the extent and network environment. The router I tested using a SIM from Plus network. Even outside the city to check it perfectly, even when the coverage rate on small but readable screen does not show the five bars. Without any problems I could browse mail, Facebook, portals and watch the video on YouTube.

ZTE MF910

I was surprised how well I downloaded from the Internet file weighs about 500 MB. In fact, I did not feel the difference in speed compared with that to which I am accustomed when I use the network in your own home.

There is no any problem regarding the hardware configuration. Comparing with the ZTE MF65+ MiFi, it should be the biggest advantages of this router. Just turn the whole holding down one button. That’s enough to be able to enjoy access to the Internet. All the smartphones and tablets that “paired” with the MF910 did not have any problems with that hardware. I can only complain to the location of the SIM card slot. It is devilishly difficult to correctly add to the router.

ZTE MF910

The whole body weighs 106g and the size is similar to a candy package (65x 14.6 x 104 mm). It’s a little larger than the ZTE MF65+ caliber, but still there is nothing to prevent the router to throw in a bag or backpack, or put it in his jacket pocket.

ZTE MF910

ZTE MF910 MiFi is equipment that meets all the expectations from customer. It will provide high-speed internet in both the cottage and will save you and your closest collaborators, when the company’s network will refuse to obey. If you are looking for a good partner for outdoor activities, ZTE MF910 is highly recommended. The most important, the price is aggressive for most users.

Difference Between Huawei B618 and E5180 LTE Cube

You may use the Huawei E5180 LTE Cube at home for wireless internet connection. It’s a good wireless router in cool shape like a cube. With the development of LTE networks, the end-users and the network providers have a higher demand for the user equipment. Here comes the new LTE router Huawei B618, which seems to be upgraded from the Huawei E5180 cube and in this article, we will see what’s the difference between the Huawei B618 and E5180, and what functions have been improved from the old one to the new one.

Appearance

Following the Cube shape design of Huawei E5180, Huawei B618 is also in white color but has a larger body and higher if stands on a desk. Perhaps because the B618 has more interfaces for multi-functions, the B618 weights much more than E5180. On the front of Huawei E5180, there is only one signal indicator and one WiFi indicator, but on the B618, there are three signal indicators, and the power, status, LAN, WiFi, mode indicators & WPS button are listed.

On the back, Huawei E5180s-22 has one LAN port, one telephone port and one power plug port. The E5180s-610 only has one LAN ports, no telephone port. Two connectors for the external antenna are listed at another side of the body. Huawei B618 has two LAN ports(one is also for WAN), one USB 2.0 port, one telephone port and power plug port. What’s more, the B618 router also has the power button and two connectors for external antenna, which are covered by a small cap.

On the top side, Huawei E5180 has the Huawei logo but it’s empty on the Huawei B618 top side. They both have one label on the bottom, which indicates the model number, SSID, WiFi key/password, power rating, IMEI and S/N number, and other certification logos. The Huawei B618 has extra WPS Pin on the label. And they both have the SIM card slot at the bottom and uses a Micro SIM card.

Technical Specifications

As an LTE Category 4 router, Huawei E5180 can support peak download speed up to 150Mbps and upload speed to 50mbps. The new Huawei B618 LTE Cat11 router could achieve almost 4 times the speed from E5180, i.e download speed to 600mbps. Huawei E5180 can support maximum 32 users to access the internet while Huawei B618 can support 64 WiFi users, which is double of that from E5180.

The WLAN standard of Huawei E5180 is IEEE 802.11 b/g/n on single band 2.4GHz. The Huawei B618s-22d can support the latest 802.11 ac besides a/b/g/n on dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz).

Management

The two routers could both be managed from the web interface in the browser, but Huawei also provides the APP to manage the routers from Smartphones or Pads.

It’s no doubt that the Huawei B618 with higher specs is much better than E5180, but frankly speaking, the Huawei E5180 cube is enough for most users at home or office. If you don’t have too many requirements for the router, Huawei E5180 is budget one to recommend. Huawei B618 is also good to recommend because it’s future-proof and would provide fantastic surfing experience under LTE-advanced networks.

Huawei B618s-22d 4G LTE Router Available

It’s a long time since the Huawei B618 4G Router was firstly released by the manufacturer Huawei. Some information shows the Huawei B618 4G LTE Router was already available in some network providers’ data plan. Good news is that we get the unlocked Huawei B618 4G Router now.

The connector type of the Huawei B618 external antenna is TS-9 and we had tried the antenna with two TS-9 connectors with the Huawei B618 Router. They are working together very well.

Huawei B618 B618s-22d connecting external antenna

Like its predecessor Huawei E5180s-22 Cube, there is a label at the bottom of the device, which would show more details about this device. We can see it indicates the model number is B618s-22d. Below the model number, there are SSID name, SSID 5G name, WiFi key/password, IP address for web management, user name and password for log in web IP address, and the WPS Pin code.

Huawei B618 B618s-22d bottom label

On the right side, it indicates the input power is 12V-2A, and the IMEI number & S/N are listed with the bar code. The CE0682, RoHS and WiFi certified with the Made in China and Huawei Technologies Co., LTD are also on the label. Below the label is the SIM card slot, which is also covered by a cap to protect from dust. User needs to open the cap and plug in the sim card.  At the SIM card slot side, it’s the rest hole. If you want to reset the router, you need press the reset button the hole for few seconds.

Here now the original new and unlocked Huawei B618s-22d is available on www.4gltemall.com, if you are looking for a cool 4G wireless router supporting LTE-Advanced networks, Huawei B618 Cube should be a good option.

ZTE MF65+ 3G Mobile WiFi Router

For the mobile router, users usually require two things: easy to use and high-speed data connection. To meet higher requirements for network connection, the Chinese manufacturer ZTE had presented a new 4G mobile hotspot to the market. The model number is ZTE MF65+. The name is similar to its predecessor ZTE MF65, but they had different design.

The ZTE MF65+ 3G MiFi converts a 3G mobile connection into a Wi-Fi network. To insert a SIM card in the ZTE MF65+ 3G Mifi and then the ZTE MF65 3G+ MiFi start a Wi-Fi network. You can then make your tablet, laptop or smartphone connect to this wireless network and enjoy an internet connection. For example, if you have an iPad without 3G, after connecting with the WiFi from ZTE MF65+, the iPad would be online outside the door.

And the ZTE MF65+ 3G MiFi can support up to 10 WiFi devices simultaneously, your family or friends may also possibly on the internet (of course only if you give them the password for the Wi-Fi network). Moreover, there is no software to connect required to connect with the WiFi network!

The ZTE MF65+ 3G Mifi is supplied in a white version, and has an impressive industrial design. The OLED display shows the signal type, signal strength, battery status, Wi-Fi mode and more.  With ZTE Mobile WiFi app, it is very easy to manage ZTE MF65+ 3G Mifi. For example you can remotely control WiFi on or off, check the battery level and signal strength, read messages and find all connected devices.

According to the specifications from ZTE, the MF65+ allows to download data at a maximum speed 21.6Mbit/s and upload speed to 11Mbit/s. Of course, these speeds refer to “laboratory conditions”. In real network condition, you may not fulfill this speed, but you will get fast enough speed for surfing.

ZTE MF65+ has a removable battery of 1500mAh, which is charged by using cable with the micro USB (as the typical smartphone). With full battery, ZTE MF65+ can keep working for 6 hours for data transmission, while it can stand up for days up to 300hours according to the manufacturer. With occasional use of the network you do not have to worry about charging your router. When connecting the MF65+ router to your computer, you can transfer files from an SD card, which can be placed in the router. You don’t need use additional software to do that.

With simple operation and fast internet connection, ZTE MF65+ is a good 3G pocket router to recommend. If you are wondering over buying a wireless router, then ZTE MF65+ is good enough with budget price. Actually, LTE is becoming the mainstream now all over the world, if you prefer to get high internet speed, you may check 4G mobile hotspots which support much faster than 3G mobile hotspot, you can check the 4G mobile routers here for reference: https://www.4gltemall.com/ue-category/lte-category-6.html/

Huawei E5180s-22 4G WiFi Router for Bouygues 4G Box

The French network provider Bouygues Télécom offers a 4G data plan for areas with poor ADSL coverage. The plan details has been using available especially in the areas eligible for this offer. The 4G data was offered to improve Internet reception for ADSL subscribers in poorly covered areas.

HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE
HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE

To do this, the operator proposes a 4G “Box” with a SIM card and an “unlimited” monthly data plan. The 4G Box is actually the Huawei E5180 LTE Cube, which is a 4G Wireless Router and working with the 4G SIM card. To look at it more closely, the LTE router provide WiFi signal with an Ethernet connection.

Basically, the 4G router is praiseworthy for underserved users, especially with an unlimited monthly data offer. However, this offer is accompanied by many restrictions that greatly reduce the notion of unlimited internet BOX, although it is important for users to provide better internet experience.

HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE
HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE

First, you have to be eligible for the offer. The offer only includes data, excluding the Voice and of course the TV. The Huawei E5180 LTE router is not mobile, so user can’t take it outdoor for holiday or weekend activities. Bouygues reserves the possibility of limiting the bit rates in video download to 2 Mbps if necessary.

HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE
HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE

The 4G+ is not available. The “BOX” Huawei router (LTE Cube E5180), was widely distributed by operators as part of data offer, especially by Orange at one time. The E5180 router only supports the 4G category 4, so is limited to a theoretical rate of 150 Mbt/s for download and 50 Mbt/s for upload. It’s not bad to compensate for a very bad ADSL speed, but damage for a so-called “widely” 4G+.

HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE
HUAWEI E5180 LTE CPE

The Huawei E5180 supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n but is limited to 2.4 GHz. The 5GHz is not available. If the model is  Huawei E5180s-22, the supported bands are 4G LTE Band 1/3/7/20/38 (FDD 800/1800/2100/2600 MHz), and it supports up to 32 wireless users simultaneously. An RJ45 port and an RJ-11 port are available for WAN/LAN connection and telephone.

Huawei 4G WiFi Cube E5180 Package details

However, the solution of the LTE link via 4G Mifi routers is a good alternative for underserved areas in ADSL connection but correctly covered in 4G, the required condition is an adequate antenna infrastructure and backhaul Fiber capable of absorbing many connections with a large flow, a LTE router serving one or more PCs not the equivalent of a smartphone.

Actually, there is new LTE router available which is similar to Huawei E5180, and with higher specification, which could supports LTE-A network and faster downstream connection. The new model is Huawei B618, which is a LTE cat.11 router, you could check more details about if on www.4gltemall.com .

Huawei Honor 9 Hands on

If you ask for a recommended smartphone with budget price, we would recommend the Honor 8 among the Huawei brand. The device was introduced in the summer of 2016 and offers a very good price-performance ratio. For a few days now the successor Honor 9 is available in Germany (we had introduced it here). It costs similar to the predecessor and optically has not done much, but the technology inside has been brought up to date. Basically, it is a Huawei P10 in another appearance and without Leica camera technology. Today we will see why the Honor 9 can be recommended for conscience to buy.

The Honor 9 is packed in a white cardboard box, the body colors are silver and blue. Later, a black version is also to be added. The silver version was provided for the test. The silver device has a very nice “shine effect” on the back, as can be seen in the photos, but fingerprints are super fast visible. In the packaging, we can find there is a hard plastic cover and of course a USB cable besides the device itself. As a connection, USB Type C is used; the power supply supports the Huawei QuickCharge technology, so the device can be recharged very quickly. A headset is not supplied.

Good first impression

The display is very nice bright and colors strong and true to nature. The full-HD resolution is absolutely sufficient, really not more needs with the size of about 5.2 inches. The fingerprint sensor has moved to the front in comparison to the Honor 8 and at the same time also serves as a home button. We find the positioning with the Honor 9 is very good, especially since the sensor also works very reliably and fast. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, two touch buttons for the multitasking menu and the back button have been placed, the assignment of the buttons can be customized to suit your personal preferences.

The camera also makes a good first impression. Honor 9 uses a dual camera with a 12 megapixel RGB sensor and a 20 megapixel monochrome sensor. Thanks to the HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset, videos can finally be recorded in 4K resolution; the predecessor did not go yet.

Body: light and shadow

The body of the predecessor Honor V9 is especially rounded on the back towards the sides, whereby the Honor 9 should lie better in the hand. Now you can stand to glass backs as you want, we find them but always a bit slippery and not as nice as metal body. This is also the criticism of the Honor 9, it feels in the hand not as good as for example a Huawei P10 or an Apple iPhone 7 (both metal body). But it’s very successful about the reflections on the back: depending on light incident, the case looks darker or lighter.

First Conclusion

The Honor 9 is a good and consistent development to the Honor 8. The technology was updated, the internal user memory doubled from 32 GB to 64 GB. The dual SIM function is of course also on board again. With the multiple color options, we suppose most users would find what suit them. The Honor 9 is recommended for daily use if you don’t have many high requirements on the mobile phone.

Huawei Offers 4G LTE Cat.11 WiFi Router B618

In the forest of WiFi routers proposed by the manufacturer, some routers are sometimes only available in some countries. The new CPE Huawei B618 joins the family of 4G category 11 routers recently. As a reminder, category 11 (3GPP rel. 12) allows peak downstream rate of 600 Mbps and 50 Mbps in upload. The category 11 specifies the aggregate of 3 carriers (256 QAM) in download for a single frequency in upload. 2 x 2 and 4 x 4 MIMO support is possible.

Huawei B618 B618s-22d 4G Router

Here now in the market, there are two models for Huawei B618, they are Huawei B618s-22d and B618s-65d. They support different network frequency bands as below:

Huawei B618s-22d Supports:

– 4G LTE Band 1/3/7/8/20/38 (FDD 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz & TDD 2600MHz)
– DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS:Band 1/8 2100MHz/900MHz
– EDGE/GPRS/GSM:Band 2/3/5/8 1900MHz/1800MHz/850MHz/900MHz

Huawei B618s-65d Supports:

– 4G LTE Band 1/3/5/7/8/28/40 (FDD 700/850/900/1800/2100/2600MHz & TDD 2300MHz)
– DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS:Band 1/5/8 2100MHz/900MHz/850MHz
– EDGE/GPRS/GSM:Band 2/3/5/8 1900MHz/1800MHz/850MHz/900MHz

Huawei B618 B618s-22d 4G Router

We suppose there will be other sub-models available Like Huawei E5186 4G LTE Cat6 router in near future to meet various demand from the network providers over the world. Currently, the Huawei B618 is only marketed in Poland as of February. Nevertheless, the displayed bands (and firmwares) should ensure good compatibility on F networks.

On the back side, you will see the power button, a WPS activation button. A USB 2.0 port is available for media sharing. An Ethernet LAN port allows wired distribution and a second port allows either an Ethernet output or a WAN input. This WAN input option assumes the presence of a Failover mode in the event of loss of either the WAN link or the 4G link. An RJ11 port is also used to connect a phone or fax. The AC power connector is located at the lower end, knowing that the Huawei B618 does not have an internal battery for standalone operation.

Huawei B618 B618s-22d 4G Router

Finally, a hatch (not visible here) contains 2 external antenna connectors for 3G & 4G antennas. The connector type is TS-9 and we recommend below the external antennas to get better signal:

LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Comparison

In the past two weeks, we was able to test and compare the new smartphone LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8. The two flagship smartphones from South Korea offer the latest technology in a futuristic-looking, but they are clearly different from each other, as they follow quite different concepts. On the one hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8, which with the rounded AMOLED display is an absolute eye-catcher, on the other hand the LG G6, which scores with a dual camera. Which one of the two smartphones is better, you can read in this brief comparison.

Both are top smartphones technically

We do not want to go into the technical data of the two devices in details; you can find the description with all details on the website of LG or on the website of Samsung. In short, both devices are very fast and react as fast as you would expect from an expensive high-end smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has indeed the more modern processor/chipset integrated, however in the use actually no difference. Also with the software, both devices are in my opinion the same, we can’t find anything different about function from the two phones.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Highlights and Fault

In the following, we would like to take a closer look at the key features. On the Samsung Galaxy S8, this was the following:

  • Very nice, futuristic design (purely optical)
  • Excellent camera, top picture quality with photo and video, super fast focus!
  • Latest modem generation (LTE Cat16, Gigabit capable) and incredibly good frequency band support
  • Very good Net monitor with manual band-selection-function (can be called up by key code)

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has also some negative characteristics in our opinion, as the two-week usage phase has shown:

  • Camera: Resolution in the 16: 9 format with only 9.1 megapixels quite small
  • Device does not lie so well in the hand, the effect is slippery
  • Fingerprints can be seen very quickly
  • The battery could be better
  • The shining metal frame is annoying, it would be nicer
  • The curved AMOLED display of the S8 does not compare directly as the flat LCD of the LG G6

Especially the design has finally disappointed me somewhat: visually, the Galaxy S8 is the most beautiful smartphone currently in our opinion, but in the hand, the device does not look so handy. Probably it is because the glass on the front and back is so strongly rounded and only a very thin metal strip remains. The LG G6 looks not so good for a long time, but acts simply more solidly. By the way, the Galaxy S8 is comparatively narrow (under 7 cm) due to the 18: 9 display, but a one-hand operation is almost impossible without the need for extensive handling due to the extremely long display.

LG G6: Highlights and Fault

The LG G6 can convince with some advantages, which the Samsung Galaxy S8 does not offer. We especially liked the following features:

  • Very good display, excellent picture quality
  • Is “solid” in the hand
  • Wide angle camera is a real added value

However, the LG G6 is not perfect; we have also some negative points on this device like the Samsung Galaxy S8:

  • Glass back susceptible to fingerprints
  • Camera picture quality might be slightly better
  • Device is a bit clumsy
  • No Net monitor available

The last point with the Net monitor is, of course, very individual and should be completely irrelevant to the vast majority of users, but I wanted to mention it, because the Samsung Galaxy S8 provides an excellent Net monitor. The LG G6 is also missing also wireless charging and the special audio amplifier in the EU version, but in the international version both is available. We do not mind at all, but some users may complain about this LG decision.

Conclusion: Which phone is better?

Before the comparison test, it was actually quite certain that most users would love the Samsung Galaxy S8 rather than LG G6. Why? The design of the S8 as we said extraordinarily well, optically it is simply a highlight. From a technical point of view, the S8 also offers almost everything you could possibly want. But after two weeks of use I have to say: the S8 has me somewhat disappointed. The battery was much weaker than expected (in particular, the Always-On display draws energy) and the S8 simply is not so good in the hand. Also in the display I was somewhat disappointed in the direct comparison to the LG G6, the curves falsify the colors sometimes quite strongly.

The LG G6 I like a little better overall, as the battery lasts longer. The G6 is well in the hand and the display is faultless. Also the wide-angle lens of the dual camera I have often used, it is not only a gimmick, but a practical function. The image quality of the wide angle camera is not very good, but the function is still fun. The LG G6 has a further advantage over the S8: it is much cheaper than the S8.

From this comparison, there may be no problem to decide between the two smartphones. If you want to check more new 4G LTE Smartphones, welcome click here: https://www.4gltemall.com/4g-lte-smartphone.html

3neo 4G WiFi Router(ZTE MF287) Features Review

If we talk about 4G router, you may think of a 3G wireless router with external antennas or other features. Today, we will offer a presentation of a LTE router which doesn’t look like a common router but very special and beautiful! The Austrian telecommunications operator “3” makes the router available to its subscriber’s package named it as “3neo“. Actually, it’s from the Chinese manufacturer ZTE and the model number is MF287.

This 3neo MF287 router is a LTE category 6 device that allows download speeds of 300 Mbps and uploads of 50 Mbps. At this time, this router is exclusively marketed by operator 3 and, in fact, the wireless router is simlocked on its networks. However, it can be expected that it will soon be marketed directly by ZTE.

Aesthetically speaking, the router has a wide band of light on the left side that displays the status of the device and on top side, a LED that tells you the type of active connection.

Concerning the connection, you will see the connection possibility on the back. You will find:

* WPS activation button

* 1 USB port (only for manufacturer’s diagnostic operations in this version)

* The supplied 12V 1.5A power port.

* The Power button

You will also find the 2 covers of the external antenna connectors in TS-9 format. We recommend below the external antenna for the 3Neo/ZTE MF287 Router: http://www.4gltemall.com/4g-antenna-two-ts-9-connector.html

4G LTE Indoor Antenna (2 x TS-9 Connectors) for Huawei/ZTE 4G LTE Modems/dongles/mobile hotspots

Regarding the power supply, as you can see, this is a 12 volt source for 1.5 amps, which makes the ZTE MF287 3Neo router can work in a vehicle. What’s more, unlike other LTE category 6 router such as Huawei E5175, this router features an internal removable battery. This 3,080 mAh Li-ion battery allows the router to run independently for up to 5 hours of operation. So user can take the 3NEO Router on the go for outdoor activities.

The dimensions of 3Neo ZTE MF287 are 220 x 110 x 106 mm with a weight of 730g. It is a portable network solution for weekend or camping and is subject to recharge via a cigarette lighter socket. Finally, you will find the location of the SIM card in micro format under the battery.

On the WiFi side, the 3neo has the WLAN feature of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with the dual band in 2.4 & 5 GHz. The 3Neo router accepts the connection of up to 64 users. The similar LTE Category 6 router Huawei E5186 could also supports same quantity of users. The ZTE MF287 can also support 3G and 2G networks if 4G/LTE network is not available. The 3neo router interface offering the features of DMZ, Port forwarding, Firewall, DHCP services with filtering, network selection and setting of the APN. However, the function of bridge mode is not supported.

At this time, we do not have accurate information about the support LTE bands and the aggregated frequency. However, Austria uses the same 4G bands as France, at least band 3 (1800), 7 (2600) and 20 (800), and operator “3” uses B3 & B7. And we suppose the cat6 aggregate is done in band 3 + 7. But this need re-confirm.

Finally, user can control the ZTE MF287 router with the 3 home application on your smartphone, after flashing the QR code located on the router. We would take further test after getting the ZTE MF287 in hand. If you can’t wait to get a new LTE cat.6 router, you may try Huawei E5186 or latest Huawei B618 LTE Router.
